Switching questions
Do I have to tell my current accountant myself?
No. Once you sign our letter of authority, we contact them for professional clearance and your records. It is a routine process between accountants.
Is there a bad time to switch?
There is no wrong time to move. We pick a switch-over date that misses your VAT, payroll and year-end deadlines.
Will my staff be paid on time?
Yes. Payroll is planned into the switch-over so nobody notices the change.
What happens to years of data?
It comes with you. We have done more than 500 conversions from almost every accounting system, including QuickBooks and Xero.
Will I pay two firms at once?
No. Your current accountant finishes the work already in progress, and we take over from an agreed switch-over date, so you never pay twice for the same work.
How much of my time will it take?
Very little. One meeting to agree the plan and sign a letter of authority, then we do the rest and keep you updated.
